Hi can anyone tell me the engine oil spec for my 2012 2.0 diesel galaxy titanium .Also is it poss to up grade to sat nav easily either original unit or alternative  thanks  jonno

I'm pretty sure most recent Fords, petrol and diesel use the Ford Formula F (formerly formula E which was semi synthetic) synthetic 5W-30 oil with only a few exceptions, your owner's handbook will have the spec in to confirm (assuming you have one).

Is there no longer any fluid information towards the rear of the handbook in the care and maintenance section? There always used to be fluid specs, oil level checking procedure as well as bulb types, fuse information etc.

Agree there's no data for lube but I did have this leaflet with my Mk3 which concurs with what Insanitybeard said

B#@%dy hell, Ford can't even include the oil spec in the care and maintenance section of the owner's handbook any more?! That's disgraceful, anybody would think they were trying to discourage home maintenance entirely!  ::)

Well, maybe not seeing that they saw fit to publish the information in a separate leaflet but why not put it in the owner's handbook where you would expect to find it?!?

Thanks to all for your help & the leaflet from Chrispb I bought my Galaxy new in 2012 & did not get that leaflet . Anybody any idea about fitting a Sat Nav ?   Thanks again    Jonno

Hi folks, new member to the forum here.

Don't have a hard copy manual to check  with yet, put down a  deposit on a 2009 Ghia Yesterday. But the on-line copies of the manuals on the Ford website all list the fluid specifications.
