Title: Air vent removal

Can anyone explain how to remove the passenger side front airvent please?

From memories or scrapyard car's there is a surround that levers out and then the main bit's clipped in. One of the few things I've not taken apart on a Galaxy - can I ask why you need to?

Id like to know as well cos the skoda superb one look like they mught ve a nice upgrade if they go in
Certainly tge drivers door switches look the same as a nice replacement
Sure looks like the vag parts bin has been well raided on some newer models

They did, much of the Galaxy is Mk4 Golf electronics with some passat and T4 components shoved in for good measure. Don't forget the switches will be red illumination though.

I did have a look at this on a scrapyard car and it appears you lever out the bit that moves, there are then 4 tabs which need lifting to allow the whole vent to slide forward and out.
