Title: Console Switch fronts MK2 - What year did they get rounded corners?
Post by: Fraz-ktf on October 13, 2013, 11:59:30 AM
Hi.

Having just swapped the heated seat system from a 2004/53 Galaxy to my 2005/05, I've found that the roller switches that fit in the radio console don't sit fully in place.  My Gal has the silver console bezel and the switches have rounded corners and a concave dimple but the 2004 car has squarer switch fronts and almost "Braille" type concave dimples.

Can the switch fronts be bought separately as the actual switch fits just fine in the hole?

thanks

The square switches are only fitted to Galaxy's with Factory Double DIN navigation - if your 2004 has them then it either has/had nav at one point or the switches have been replaced.

yes, the donor car for the heated seats, has indeed got Satnav built in.

So I'm on the lookout for 2 x heated seat switch front bezels now.
