Hi all 3rd post today, hope no one gets pis*ed off with the newbie!
Have one working ignition key (just key) and one working door remote with key that does not work, trawling through the forum (and trying anyway, it appears that I need 2 keys to programme a third)
SO the question is, where is the cheapest place to get a new key programmed for the ignition and doors?
Many thanks

The cheapest is to clone the first key - about Ã,£40. It will allow you to start the car with both key's but the car will still only think you have one - Ie, you still won't be able to code more keys. The expensive but preferable way, is to get a new PAT's chip learned by the system giving you two keys. About Ã,£125 and largely main dealer only as there are only a handful of 3rd parties with the technology to do it.
You can code your own door remote - that's the easy bit :)
Cheers Mirez, thought as much, will have to just get the wallet out!
