hi everyone I think I need to change the transmission fluid on my galaxy 2.3 auto (1999) but think its a sealed unit (no dipstick) so can anyone please give me a tutorial on doing this and also which is the best fluid to get cheers rob ps think this may solve the gear change problem for example I was doing around 55-60mph and rev counter showing approximately 4500rpm :(
What you have to bare in mind is you won't get all the fluid out by just draining the sump (only about half) so you will need to repeat the process a few times having driven the car between changes.
On the AG4 box the sump can be removed and filter changed if needed.
Read the link below for level and filling info

great thanks will check it out cheers rob ;D
what make transmission fluid is the best does anyone know ? cheers rob
Given the number of times you'll ever change it, its probably best to stick with oem.
great thanks very much for your help ;)
