sorry guys it isnt a ford :)
I do like the tiguan :) only downside is unless you hook a trailer up to it then its nowhere near as practical as an MPV!
thats why ive still got my smax, ;)
had a little bit of :-[ this evening,on these new cars DO not attempt to reverse park without your seat belt on.COZ THE BLOODY ELECTRONIC HAND BRAKE ACTIVATES and wont let you move it.
not that we done this,oh no.not us. :'(
I doubt that tbh mate, I'd hazard a guess its probably more likely you are on a hill and hill hold assist has activated ;)

nope,flat road.
some kind of safety device.as said as soon as i put the belt on i could move the car.
my missus phoned the dealership to say 'help' somethings wrong, and through his laughter said insert belt, jobs a gooden. :)
were still reading up on how to use park assist, amazing piece of kit,the guy took us out and showed us all about it,very clever, rather unnerving that you take your hands off the wheel and it virtually parks itself.personally i think its a waste of money. he even agreed that not many peeps use it.
How totally, totally bizarre! The one time you are legally allowed to remove your belt and VW stop ya lol!
Park assist has one HUGE flaw as far as I can see... if you can't get INTO the spot without assistance, how are you gonna get OUT of the spot without assistance? Since it only helps going in, you are basically stuffed till the chap behind comes back ;) Mine has it, used it a few times for the novelty factor but I can park faster and in tighter gaps then it can plus, if you can't park you shouldn't be driving anyway!
Certainly looks nice in white, waiting on you for some more photos :D
Still got 14 months with the galaxy but am seriously going to look at the sharan when we change it as I like the idea of the sliding rear doors

went out in it this evening, parked it up.missus said oh you dont need to use mirrors you can use the dash etc,i said no its all right i will continue using the mirrors,
as for pics again ill try and take some more at the weekend.
chris we did look at the vauxhall antara, felt it was very tractor like.
as the better half doesnt need a 7 seater, she decided to go for a suv.
