Hi all,
New to the forum and looking for help / advice.
I have a 2.3 petrol 2003 Galaxy.
Its just started to play up. It "chugs" like its running on 3 cylinders and the engine management light has just come on.
I'm guessing the 2 are related :)
Any thoughts........ is it terminal, or just needs new plugs and a service?
I've had it for a few months and its been great, so hoping its an easy fix.
Thanks in advance
Eddie
Hi Eddie and welcome along!
There could be a number of reasons for this to be honest but the good news is that at least the management light is coming on! This means you'll have a fault code stored on the ECU which should enable you to narrow the cause right down. Have the codes read (you'll need someone with a generic OBD2 reader for the 2.3 engine) and then report back...
