Is there an alternative to Ford for a new key? My 2 year old though it would be funny to put the whole bunch down a drain so now I only have the one key :(
have you tried to lift the drain to retrieve them?if not ring your local council for a bit of advice/help.
or try a hook/wieght/line.
from fords i would assume(as usual)will cost an arm and hand.
you might be able to find a decent auto locksmith who should be able to do the job,maybe clone the remaining key if he doesnt have the current software?if not then im afarid its a trip to the dealers, :(
KIDS EH. ::)
a telescopic magnetic pickup tool is useful for retrieving keys down drains.
Been there! Phone, wallet and keys with my lad lol. Got a local plumber to take the drain up and use a grabber tool to get it all back but the phone was fooked.
If it's a roadside drain it's likely to be to deep to reach by hand any way.
Some drains have a basket fitted to catch foreign objects.
Certainly worth a try ringing the council.
Hope the gully sucker doesn't beat you to it though.
