Can anyone recommend any suitable replacement LED bulbs for the front sidelights?
I would like something that is preferably brighter than standard, as I would like to use them as daylight running lights (I use the headlights at present). Obviously I want something that isn't going to generate too much heat and damage the lens/fittings.
Cheers
I have these:

Probably about 30%ish brighter then standard and have been reliable, you can get them "double stacked" if you wanted them even brighter but beware the sidelight isn't shielded so if you go too bright you'll just end up dazzling and having the opposite effect of a decent DRL lol
!
Already ordered these from ebay for now http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170669258583?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170669258583?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649)
I'll let you know how they do/look. Chose them as the bulb "glass" is visible in the light cluster and these should look more like standard bulbs when off.
At least they will be brighter than the ones fitted now as they have both blown LOL
Must be because some tightwad keeps replacing them from the stock he extracted from an older rover 200 dash ( [OOPS] ) . They tend to look like red glow worms when fitted!
