Hi there,I just wondered if anyone can help? I have a 03 1.9 tdi mk2 Galaxy and I'm having problems with the headrest monitors.Does anybody know what fuses powers the rear DVD unit please.
Thanks for your time in advance. :)
What's the problem with it?
The rear system is fed from F10 or F32 (Depending on year) but also from the head unit.
Thanks for your response,I can't get them to work at all. There were working ok but the left side went off now both aren't working.I can't unload the DVD either but the aux output is working ok as it is charging my phone.
Thanks for your time.
Chris
The 12V socket is from the same feed so if it's working then your problem isn't the supply. You could check the radio is giving it 12V on the switched side but the RSE controller can be a fiddly old beast.
Try disconnecting the left monitor (Blue multiplug under the seat) - cycling the ignition and then attempt to fire it up. It will shut the system down if either monitor develops a fault.
Thanks very much for that information,It seems to be sorted as I didn't know the radio had to be on ::) and I didn't realist you could switch from one screen to another!would you happen to know we're I could get a instruction manual for the operation from?
My only problem is I un clipped the yellow passengers side airbag loom and now it's says there is a airbag fault.
Once again many thanks for your help.
Chris
You shouldn't disconnect any part of the airbag system unless the battery has been disconnected for about 20 mins.
You will now need VCDS/Vagcom to clear the airbag code
Cheers for that,I appreciate your offer but I'm on holiday in Norfolk at the moment. Thanks all the same
