Title: Changed pollen filter but blower is still weak

Galaxy Zetec 2.3 Sept 2002
I've managed to change the pollen filter (What a nightmare, why did they bury it there?) but the blower still seems pretty feeble for the amount of noise it makes.
It's manual control and all four levels spin up the fan a bit faster and it makes the right amount of noise that you'd expect.
The heater works fine and I imagine the aircon needs topping up. I'm not too woried about that as long as there's a decent draft but there isn't.
Anyone got any ideas what else I can try?

Look in the mk 1 & 2 reference library section It's all there with pics aswell.

The blower motor is behind the glove box but I suspect if the blower is working on all four speeds then that is it as the system is really not man enough for the size of vehicle.
