just scrubbed the inner edges on my new tyres on front in 5k miles. quick check with spirit levelshows too much negative chamber. any one managed to adjust this camber bolts maybe, or are they slotted? can they be adjusted like on s max?
as far as I know the cambers not adjustable ? but if the inner edges are worn away its also a sign that the tracking is out--meaning that both front wheels are pointing outwards, that will wear away the inside edges.
I think it might be spring sag causing negative camber. what is the standard ride height supposed to be ?
:(
I bought a track right laser tool for checking alignment, and also used string parallel to both front an back hub centres. i first adjusted rear tracking which was tow in too much wearing outside edges, went for test drive and the car pulled to one side! proved front and rear were not aligned, then did front tracking too much toe out inner edges worn. now goes straight, and better mpg too. still not sure about front camber but will see how i get on with my 4 new tyres now
