Title: Rear spring and shocker change
Post by: turbotimmy on May 19, 2013, 05:14:19 PM
Hi, can anyone help me out with the torque settings for the rear shock. I got a broken spring, which I think is fairly straightforward to replace but need to take off the shock and thought it best to torque up rather than risk over tightening. Cheers

Hi there
It is recommended that new nuts/bolts are used with these settings

Upper fixing 81 Ib ft

Lower fixing 96 Ib ft

I've fitted heavy duty springs bought direct from Monroe online store Ã,£80 pr. The Sharan fitted with a tow bar so hopefully these should last!!
