Can the auto interior mirrir from an alhambra retro fit in a 2001 mk2galaxy??

Yes - as can the Galaxy and Sharan one's as they are all the same. It's a three wire system, +12V, Ground and Reverse. If you want to be lazy you can miss out the reverse wire but that's used to undim the mirror when reversing (so the reverse light bounce back won't confuse it)

A mk2 ghia would normally have it as standard, so either yours is a very early X/Yreg or its been removed in the past - either way its possible the wirings already there.
