Have motor units out of headlight
drivers side no movement
is there a seperate fuse for right/left motor
wiring so small at plug I cannot get a connection.
or do i quit and buy a new unit
Tony
pulled unit apart completely
still no go
just going to replace unit
see vw tomorrow
I would have opted to just buy a new one ;)
You can get them online reasonably cheaply and its not worth the hassle of stripping it down again for a failed repair.
any suggested links?

I've now got one from here after taking old one out numerous times! working perfectly now for half the price than from Fords.

Well Spotted, Replaced both motors today with motors from link above (Veedubmachine). Perfect fit, both lamps now dip together for first time since owning vehicle.
This forum proves its worth, yet again. Now just the aux heater broken wire to fix, well, at least for now.
