So been driving along and started to randomly loose power, VCDS scan showed it as the following:
005121 - EGR Valve (N18)
012547 Intake Manifold Flap (V157)
Now I replaced the IMF just last month or so with a used part, but was on about 30k from a Touran, so I'm assuming it isn't that (or at least JUST that!).
Now the EGR on these pieces of poop engines (BRT) are built INTO the manifold itself.
Has anyone blocked it off and had it mapped out?
Recommendations on fixing/repairing/removing/Etc.? 😂
This cars giving me the run around, and all I seem to be doing is fixing and replacing bits and getting sick! 🤦
Edit:
I should add, I was getting the traction control light flashing at me (ESP) and a significant loss of power, bit like limp mode, but not quite!
Not turbo/air leaks anywhere!
