Haha I saw that other week while waiting at traffic lights,was going to take a picture but the person was stood next to it

lol, wondered if you had seen it! It's got some box thing bolted on the roof as well, thought it was a solar panel to start with but its a bit overkill if it is!


I don't think it is included within the MoT. The rule (I believe) is that the ball has to be secured and not worn, I think they expect it will be a proper tow bar installation and not a DIY affair! I guess it depends what they are pulling with it, it could just be for a cycle rack but the more I look at it I think AK is right and it has to be bolted onto the crashbar.

They had another mpv a while back that had the same contraption on the roof,no idea what it is though. There is all sorts of junk in that little yard.
