GREETINGS!
Now then. A friend of mine hasn't used his Alhamb much in the last two years. He's only done about 3,000 miles but hasn't changed his oil for 2 years now.
He is wondering, should he change it because of the amount of time that has passed?
Or is mileage sufficient? When he does use his car, it gets nice and hot.
Hmm.
Thank you.
It won't do any harm to change it, if your unsure have a look how it looks and smells on the dipstick. I think 2 years is the recommended time if it doesn't hit whatever the mileage interval is (You don't mention what engine it is, but I know the petrol service interval seems to be every 9000 miles, suspect the diesel is somewhere around the same).
Thank you very much Brian, I will advise him to change it
