Title: Daytime Running Lights
Post by: SirDavidAlhambra on September 06, 2021, 07:16:05 AM
Hi everyone!!

Is there a way to program my Alhamb so that the side lights automatically come on when the engine is running?

I have noticed these days that so many cars have daytime running lights, that if you don?t have your side lights on they think you?re parked or they don?t notice you!

Thank You.

There isn't any programming for the side lights, you can (from memory) enable the headlights to be on all the time by enabling Scandinavian mode in VCDS.

The headlight switch does have an unused output though which is a DRL feed, you can connect up to 10amp to that feed so can put your own lights in.

Thank You for the kind and helpful reply, I think I will in that case just flick them on manually, it only takes a moment I guess  :)

[THANKS]
