Hello my friends.

Please can anyone recommend what type of cable I need and what version of VCDS (there are two available for download on their website) I would need for a Mk2 2006 Alhamb. Lots of people go on about VCDS Lite but on their website it says it's for 2005 or older VAG cars and mine is 2006. So is it release 21.3 that I need.

Also any hints for nice little tweaks to make using the software would be great too. He he.

I think yours should be fine with the lite version. Depends what you want to do. But a cable compatible with lite is cheap enough to give it a go all the same. Upgrade it if your finding some bits don't allow access that you needs.
