[attachimg=1] right hand side heater matrix coolant pipe noticed it had a sensor when I was replacing pollen filter (nightmare to do) couldn't get the plug off as it was in an awkward position but felt as tho it was a square plug with 2 wires into it with a spring clip tried to press bottom and top of clip but couldn't get it to release was wondering if it was another coolant sensor well hidden only found it by mistake lol any advice would be much appreciated peeps 😀
Ps sorry its been a while been working 7 days a week 78 hrs and haven't had the time for anything but got 3 days off bank hol weekend so thought I would give the old gal (sharan) a major service and replace all filters and brakes but rear brake caliper carriers sized and snapped so need those as well the list will always continue with this car lol
[attach=1] all because a rubber dust cover was missing both sides are seized and that's why the foot and hand brake were shocking poor lol
Cant recall mine having that but I would say itââ,¬â,,¢s coolant temp sensor or the HVAC so controller has accurate temp readings from engine and what heater inlet temp is. Purely a guess mind so I could be way off
It is a temperature sensor indeed
Thanks for the replies peeps I'm gonna order that sensor and fit it when I'm next off work which will be end of the month next bank holiday lol got my second hand caliper carriers today so going to put them on tonight after work and I'm back on the road at least for now lol
