I'm back!
I last posted in Sept 11th 2019 with user name regw
after which a hard drive failed and after fixing the PC up I
couldn't remember my password and went through the 'I forgot my password' routine
(a few times since in fact) but never got any kind of response over the intervening months.
Not impressed with the fordmpvs'forgot password' process at all, bit of a ball ache that.
I could read posts but obviously not respond or create any.
So,today as I've still got the old thing, I decided to re register with a new user name and email address.

My car has got roof racks on it now, very useful!
Humm nothing wrong with the forgot password system, I take it you've checked spam? PM me the email address you used for that account and let's makes sure it's what you are checking, if so I can reset the password for you manually.
I've looked and looked and checked my profile, but see no means of sending a PM
I see facebook, twitter and email icons but no PM ones
You want the my messages menu at the top of the page, or the speech bubble on Mirez's post above should let you send one. It may require a few posts before you see the option for messages though.
I have the my messages at the top so can obviously get them, but currently no means to send one
I did wonder if you have to post a certain amount of times to have this function enabled.

Apart from usual service items not much.
I did fit a Sony mechless stereo with bluetooth and added some extra USB ports and built in voltmeter
into a switch blank and changed those dim boot light festoon bulbs for led arrays.
