Title: Powershift gear shift adjustment
Post by: Gordan Vasilić on May 14, 2020, 02:48:17 PM
Hi, I need help with Galaxy 2012, 2.0, 120kw. Several days ago strange thing happened. Shifting to D,N and R is normal, but when I try to shift to P, there are now 2 clicks/places where the stick can get in. None of them is real P, so I need to place it somewhere between to get P on dashboard. Is there a way to adjust gear shift stick as it seems to be dislocated a bit.

Thanks

I donââ,¬â,,¢t know nothing about the ford powershift but if itââ,¬â,,¢s anything like more modern auto boxââ,¬â,,¢s in other makes the shifter is electronic rather than traditional cable drive. If that is the case then I would assume the shift mechanism is faulty. Try having a look under the boot if itââ,¬â,,¢s wires then shifter assembly would be required I imagine if itââ,¬â,,¢s cable then there will be adjustment gearbox end.
