When I drive there feels are vibrations and/ or shudders. Not all the time and theres no rhythm or at any one time it happens.
It feels like I have a flat tyre or in the wrong gear.
I took the car to have the wheels balanced and tracked last week and it all came back as no problems whatsoever.
Today I came off a motorway slip road and the car was shaking so much I was actually thinking a tyre was going to shoot off!!
Pulled over and checked the tyres, all good. I refused to drive it after that. My partner went and got the car and hes said its driving normally and can't feel anything wrong.
I'm going out of my head with worry thinking something is going to snap, fall off or blow up!!
He's thinking it could be the start of an injector failure Does this sound like it could be?
Any suggestions will be grateful because I'm going nuts over the last 6 weeks or so with it.
It would help to know more about these vibrations, madam. Do they make the steering wheel shudder from side to side for example. Or does it feel like the car is hesitating as if it is running out of petrol. Also does it happen when you apply throttle (which could be a Drive Shaft). Please be as detailed and descriptive as you can be please madam.
In the meantime I deffo wouldnââ,¬â,,¢t drive some car that sounds like itââ,¬â,,¢s falling apart, might be fine but who wants to conk out on the motorway or have a wheel fall off or whatever. So in conclusion please put your safety first, this is paramount, and call upon the services of a reputable garage. Personally I wouldnââ,¬â,,¢t drive it unless you are certain it is safe. A car is just a lump of metal but a person is irreplaceable and safety is the one thing to never compromise on, ever. I hope u get it fixed soon and it is a cheap fix I hope
If itââ,¬â,,¢s intermittent like that I would be inclined to think itââ,¬â,,¢s engine related causing a severe misfire. Not much detail to go on. Personally I would get the engine plugged in to diagnostics and see if anything is logged and check live data to see how injectors are performing. The injector wiring on these engines is a fairly common failure point.
If it was wheels,driveshafts etc I would expect it to be present all the time or at specific speeds.
When it is vibrating do you have power loss?
That makes a lot of sense, I wonder if we can get the diagnostic codes somehow.

A question for the experts on here: would a bottle of redex help if itââ,¬â,,¢s the injectors? Thank you

Yes you can, its a mk2 Sharan being discussed here, VCDS lite would get the fault codes if anything is being logged. As said by Johnnyroper I'd be looking at the injector loom (which I think is under the rocker cover on these).
Diagnostics on these is fairly easy and cheap - other vehicles can cost hundreds for a suitable solution for home use (Land rover for example). VCDS lite can be had for less than a tenner if you've got the laptop already.
Quite correct the loom sits inside rocker cover so is Subject to heat and oil.
Also very true vcds is cheap even if you pay to register it is cheaper than other software,as Brian pointed out jaguar Land Rover software is not cheap but is also a faff having to run some virtual software so it works on newer versions of windows. I purchased it for my x type but have up in the end and let it go with the car when I sold up.
Vcds is easy to get and use.
The other place that may be worth looking at is the engine bay fusebox near the battery - pop the cover open and look for signs of melting, though I'd expect it to be quite noticeable if it had got bad enough to cause running issues (as you'd expect to smell the melting plastic)
The couple I have dealt with had alternator workshop message and ABS light on when fuse box decided to self combust. Certainly worth a look but I still feel looking more at injector/loom issue personally
Sounds like Inner CV joint symptoms to me to be honest. Had it on ours.
Actually, yes, I think User 054812 is on to something here. Iââ,¬â,,¢ve had the same problem too... it felt like I was driving a bone-shaker. Well worth looking into this possibility!
