Whilst stationary, I apparently hit another car, resulting in the indicator lens breaking off. The rest of the mirror is OK apart from a small scratch.
I have managed to sort of jam the lens back in and have a new one on order. But I can't see how to fit it as there are little plastic tabs on every side.
Do I have to take the body-coloured part of the mirror off? If so, how do I do it? I don't want to start stuffing screwdrivers in and levering!
(Silly old woman swore blind I hit her. The fact that I was not moving and she was on my side of the road was irrelevant. Not worth pursuing her.)
