Another non vital but slightly annoying problem.
When I'm filling up with deisel I never seem to find the 'sweet spot' for the nozzle
on the Galaxy and so the nozzle keeps shutting off until I pull it out, reposition it and pull the lever again.
Usually on my vehicles I get to know the best nozzle position and just stick it in
pull the lever and fill er up.
Any cunning wheezes for this procedure?
When it clicks off once, pull the nozzle out a bit and fill it up more slowly?
With my MK1 the petrol filler neck had a metal flap inside it, which was in the wrong place and made it damn near impossible to get it to fill (you'd get squirts of 5p in at a time). Luckly being a gas conversion it didn't need filling with petrol very often. I used a pair of long nose pliers to pull it out of there and that stopped the problem. Worth a look at least. Or try another pump maybe?
I found with mine the natural angle of the nozzle caused it to shut off,if I angled handle up slightly so the nozzle angled down a bit it fuelled no problem.
