Like a nob I popped the battery back in after charging and it was the wrong way round. Yes it was sparks all round, now Iââ,¬â,,¢ve no hazards-indicators or interior lights.
Does anyone know which relays run both systems. Engine bay fuses are all good so are the ones on the main fuse board . Thank you
Some of the mk2's use a module on the fuseboard rather than a relay to control the indicators and interior light delay. Not sure on the hazards, but would suspect that as well is off the same module. Its worth having a look through posts on here - I think the term used for it is the IDM ?
Thank you Brian, I will have a read.
Recheck the purple fuse 3 amp in the engine bay fuse box.

Hi , is there more than one engine bay fuse box ? The only one I can see is located just in front of the battery.
That's the one.

Nope all ok , so must be something more sinister somewhere sadly.
Thanks anyway.
Might sound a bit daft, but just in case you've upset it, try leaving the battery off for a while (couple of hours ideally) and then reconnect it. I've known all sorts of problems occour when jump starting stuff, and reversing the battery might have caused the same sort of thing to happen.
Hi, thanks for that. I will try in the morning.
