stopped at lights car stalled , started in 1st gear and got home at 10 mph without any clutch.
pedal on floor , got home , starts in neutral , got pedal up , 1st gear pull away 3 seconds and pedal to floor and stall.

Have a look under the gearbox - any signs of brake fluid leaking out of it? If so then its probabbly the slave cylinder failed (will need a new clutch).
If the fluid doesn't appear to be leaking anywhere (should bring the brake light on if it gets low enough) it could be the clutch master cylinder thats failed - What info is in your post suggests thats more likely to me, might be able to prove it by removing the feed to the slave cylinder, stick something over the end and see if you get much fluid pumped down with any pressure behind it.
Would be worth a close look at the pedal to make sure it hasn't broken in some way, might be a bit easier to see with the lower part of the dash removed (the bit that covers the fusebox etc under the steering wheel).
after getting home i observed a tiny amount of fluid drip from the back of the underneath engine guard , centre .
i tried bleeding the clutch with an easi-bleed 12 psi , still no pressure but now have advanced dripping underneath
Your next step is probably to take the undertray off then and have a look where its coming from.

if it's the slave , will it be bell housing off ?
Yes, its inside the clutch housing (you'd usually want to replace the clutch at the same time as if it fails it can leak fluid onto the clutch plates, and your in there anyway, so it makes sense to only have it apart the once).
Thatââ,¬â,,¢s gonna be a box off job as it sounds like the slave has popped. Expensive one aswell as itââ,¬â,,¢s false economy just changing the slave. Will need clutch kit and unless mileage is very low the DMF is best replaced at same time.
Last thing you want to do is go through all the hard work and then a few months later the DMF gives out
