I would try giving it a damn good bleed first and see if that improves things. Where is the biting point of clutch?

The fact it goes in fine with engine off proves the linkage mechanism and points to clutch related, the garage are responsible for putting it right as they did the work.

In that case sounds like clutch not fully clearing to me then, you need to take it back to them and get them to sort it out if they insist it isnââ,¬â,,¢t the clutch get a 2nd opinion from somewhere else.
Wonder if they have sourced a clutch from techniclutch or alike?

The clutch has come from bbc brakes Blackburn not techniclutch which I've heard some stories Chinese clutches

Chances are itââ,¬â,,¢s a gen LUk rather than a techniclutch cheap recon then.

I would give garage another chance and if they are still adamant itââ,¬â,,¢s not the clutch get another garage to give a 2nd opinion.

Donââ,¬â,,¢t suppose you paid on credit card did you? If so and garage wonââ,¬â,,¢t admit liability get in touch with CC company and do a section 75 claim.
