Title: Advice on dashboard Spares VW Sharan year 2008, 58 plate.
Post by: yeshu26 on December 20, 2018, 04:04:53 PM
Hello All

Soon I am going to replacing the heater matrix(separate thread), therefore I might as well do the following fixes if they are important operationally.

The 1st one below clearly is.

1: The passenger side is vent is permanently closed. Therefore do I need to buy the whole assembly as part Fleay item number 11323648937 or I just need the cover?

2: The glove box does "leak" cold air, and I had to seal it with duct tape. What parts do I need to change?

Thanks again

I see it has the glovebox cooler on yours,I would imagine the pipe is off at rear of the vent assuming the vent is closed?
Also that piece thatââ,¬â,,¢s missing by hinge always used to fall off on mine so I blu tacked it on. Scrapper be your best bet for that piece.

Also the dash vent take it out first just in case the mechanism from knob has just popped off or something.

Ah, so ice cold air at all times is normal? That makes sense.
