Hi does anyone know how to remove the seat squab on the front seats of a 2003 galaxy I need to replace the seat base at some point I hve a spare seat so want to remove the squab anf have it recovered then swap it for the one in car

Seems that no one has done this so will have to figure it out myself cant believe mine is the only galaxy with a worn drivers seat bolster
Yes it has been done, can be a bit fiddly, they use hog rings to secure the foam to the base.
I used cable ties on refit, think a few others has also done it this way.
Thanks for that but changing the foam is now what I meant I want to remove the complete base as one part and replace from another seat Not just the foam
Ahh that's easy, there are 3 bolts and a circlip per side that hold the top of the seat to the base. You'll have to to thread out the airbag wiring but that's strait forward. If you have heated seats then you'll have problems as the top is fed from the bottom so will require the covers off as Chris talks about.

Sounds easy enough there not heated so that's not a worry will try on old seat first base is as new on it but recliner bit and armrest knackered
