Title: Interior lights and drivers side mirror indicator
Post by: Adam Boswell on July 28, 2018, 01:28:13 PM
All,

My interior lights don't appear to work. Recently bought the car and hadn't noticed until last night, fuse is fine, all switches turned to doors but none work.

Any ideas before I start stripping it back?

Also drivers side wing mirror indicator doesn't work, looks like I need to take the mirror glass out to get to the flasher unit.

Looking on eBay, looks like I need to buy a flasher unit and replace the whole thing....that sound about right?

Cheers

indicator in door mirror have a check of the wiring going therough rubber gator from A post to door first as thatââ,¬â,,¢s notorious for having problems.

As for interior light does it work when you just put switch to on?

Good shout il have a look at the wiring in the wing mirror before I buy a new light.

Interior lights wise, only the passenger reading light works off its switch. The rest of the lights, wont come in at all, either via the switch or the doors (any door).

Given the fuse is ok, and the reading light works, I'm thinking there is a Seperate control module somewhere for the courtesy lights?

The lights are controlled via the fuse box timer unit if I remeber correctly, worth having a check make sure all pugs are in securely. But you could end up having to source a new fuse box.
