does anyone know how to remove top centre dash storage from 07 sharan please ?

If its the same as the mk2 Galaxy the parts list shows 3 screws in the base. See attached. Number 9.

I've never taken mine out to confirm if you can see the screws from inside, it may be the case you need to peel back the lining to see them?

If itââ,¬â,,¢s like the galaxy and if memory serves correct itââ,¬â,,¢s just a case of taking out about 4 screws (T20 iirc) then lifting it out

The Sharan and bamma are different. Some have the screws, some have clips and some have both. Look along the front and back lips where the box (Not the lid) touches the car for a small rectangle about 3mm by 1mm. There is a metal clip down that hole that has to be pushed back to release the box.

removed it ok , 2 screws and lift up from the windscreen end .

ANYONE know what the small button in the vent infront (windscreen end ) of this is for ?

Do you mean right close to screen like a black dome/block thing? If so I think that is a sunshine sensor for hvac

ps. what workshop manual do i use as i cant find a haynes for a 2007 sharan ?

In all honesty I wouldnââ,¬â,,¢t bother with a Haynes anyway,you will get far more info off this site.

I am sure you could probably get a copy of the VW TIS disk or whatever they call it off the flea bay fairly cheap.
