Title: Radio reception when phone charging
Post by: bwprice100 on May 04, 2018, 03:45:13 PM
When l plug my phone to charge via a usb adaptor in the cigar lighter socket the radio looses reception and it immediately returns when the phone is unplugged.
The lead makes no difference.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Cheap USB adaptor! The cheapo ones have zero filtering and generate massive RF noise as a result that kills the reception. Its the reason and a testament to how well shielded the cars electrical circuits are.
