I'm pretty sure my loom has gone. I'm driving like its go no acceleration and is flat, turbo whistles at 3000 and it picks up a very little bit, the problem is intermittent.
What is the VW part number (PD 115) engine ? 2004 Galaxy as Fraud quoted me Ã,£200 part only.
As ever cheers
Selling them a lot less on ebay.

A misfire usually occurs with a dodgy loom, sometimes the connectors can be squeezed up where they fit on the injectors but to be honest it's not worth the hassle at that price.
A misfire will normally generate a fault code so may be worth checking first before you buy in case you just have a boost issue.
My MK2 Manual seems to misfire on start up but runs perfectly once it get going. Is that likely to be loom related?
As above I would check the VNT operation, vac pipes etc first as that sounds more likely for the problem you have.
@bigjeeze your issue could be the loom but I would check for fault codes on vcds aswell as measure blocks to see what injection correction figures you have. Usually the loom is more likely to play up once warm I think?
My gal starts up like a bag of spannerââ,¬â,,¢s after being left overnight but is fine once it has settled, mine is due to either a leaking injector or one of the seals not holding so allowing fuel to leak by.
