Hi, I have a 2005 Galaxy with a satnav which came back from the garage asking for the code which I don't have :(, It's a ford unit and has several numbers on it, no idea which is the serial number. I've placed a link to the photo of it below.
Can anyone help please?

Forgot to mention, the display says "safe" so I can'r enter any numbers, do I need to disconnect the battery?
Thanks
Usually you leave radio switches in for 30-60 minutes to reset the safe and be able to enter a code.
As for the code have you tried one of the online decode companies see if they can help?
The serial number should be the one starting BP as its stamped onto the unit as well as on the sticker. no idea beyond whats already suggested unless you can get an answer from the local Ford dealer maybe.
Also the 7m5 number is the part number if you get asked for it.
That unit is a rebadged VW one, it's actually an MFD1 in VW speak so you'll get more luck hunting for a VW decoder then a Ford one ;)
HI guys, thanks for the help, left the radio on for 30 minutes which let me enter the numbers, sent a list of all the numbers found on the side of the unit to "http://www.mmsa.org.uk/" who sent me a code which worked. Sorted!
Thanks
write it down in yer book, ;)
