If its diesel yes, (your profile suggests you have a diesel). The petrol only has the tank one.
You can access the tank one from the top, but you have to remove the carpet from under the drivers side seat in the middle row (take trim off door at floor height, peel back carpet and remove the surrounds from the bits the seats lock down into, theres a small access hatch screwed to the floor).
Hi
I removed all the seats and carpet but I did not find any space or access. I was told by a friend that I may have to drop the tank from under the car on this reg: LO!! RJU ?
any idea please
What year is the car? You said 2001 in the first post and now its a 2011??
sorry, it is 2011
That would be a mk3 - entirely different car, No idea if there is a hatch to access that (most fords where the rear seat folds/lifts up have a large rubber grommet, this allows access to the tank).
If you can't see anything there, its a good chance there isn't a hatch. The mk1 definitely has one (as i've had it out to access the pump), I'd expect the mk2 has as its quite similar to the mk1. No idea on mk3 sorry.
