a simple one and should be easy answered , I should know but I don't lol so I'm asking, my 1.9 auto galaxy is it end of mk1 or beginning mk2.

If the indicators are separate to the headlight its a mk1, if they are part of the headlight its mk2. Post a photo if your still not sure.

might be a mk1.5?

X reg should be the start of the Mk2s but there where some X and even Y plate Mk1s. If you look in our knowledgebase there is a photo of the front ends

I had the same conversation with my old man on this earlier and he said similar to yourself, telling me they put a few models out during this time. thanks will have a look now
