Hi Guys
My Wife's Auto has some odd occurrences I can't figure out. Sometimes when you start, the engine revs up very fast then drops back to normal. It doesn't affect driving but it seems really odd. Also occasionally, the engine speed increases to just over 1000 rpm when you are creeping along in traffic or are stopped. Again it doesn't cause any problems but it is worrying. Any ideas?

Check with VCDS see if you have a problem with coolant temp sensor.
