evening :) I've just picked up a VW intermediate driveshaft and stub shaft which although supposedly off a 100K car has less than a mm in wear on the splines. The brass bush thing is in pieces so need a replacement for that.

Just a quick question if possible - should I also be buying a replacement long allen head bolt (the one that bolts the sub shaft into the gearbox) also the rubber seal in the gearbox and what about the rubber O ring on the stub shaft?

If anyone has parts numbers for the above or can point me in the direction of a VW parts list that would be greatly appreciated....

The allen bolt is "097409359" and the brass ring or "tapered bush" as VW call it is "02N409374"
