how do i remove indicator stalk

Airbag off, steering wheel off, cowling off, clockspring off, undo connectors then one hex bolt and slide both stalks off together. Separate by depressing central tab and slide one forward and the other back.

mirez dont want to step on the masters toes,but shouldnt the battery be disconnected?before removing steering wheel?????
