Arrived yesterday - looking forward to tomorrows commute :)
Mm is that the new CC? like that colour looks very similar to our MK3
Got it in one ;) tis a sportline CC 170. Gone lazy this time and had the dsg auto option which is taking a little getting used to!
very nice indeedy :),before i bought the smax was very tempted to stay with cars and test drove an 08 passat, cor didnt half go. ;) but the 1 thing i really didnt like was the electronic handbrake.but very comfy.
is this a company car???
so how many cars have you got on the go now ;) ?
Yeah its company owned and unfortunately just a loan car for a couple of weeks but it's sooo much nicer then the Golf :) Had the choice of this one, a manual version with the 140ps engine, a tourareg and an Up!.... think I picked the right one lol although the Tourareg would have been nice its too big for daily use IMO
To be honest we've been looking at changing the Gal for a few months now but not sure exactly what to replace it with. We've been considering one of these so its handy I'm getting to drive it. Also considering the Touran and Tiguan 170's. I really want a 4x4 this time as we're on a substantial hill that they don't grit so the last few winters have been interesting! Trouble is they don't do a 4motion Touran and I'm not 100% on the Tiguan's look's. They do a CC in 4motion but its the 3.2V6 so will need some thought as to the MPG first!!!
well next time my missus changes her car,as i have the smax she wants a suv type like yourself and weve been doing a bit of research.she quite likes the ford kuga but at the mo dont think its available without a HUGE deposit on motorbility.
but weve also been looking at the cars from Hyundai and the likes at there versions,as she has to drive it for 3 years its something were looking at VERY carefully, she feels she rushed into getting her smax, did a bit but she wanted a renault scenic,WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP THAT WAS.so i steered her to the smax ;D
ooo the tourareg i do like these,
couldnt you get a 'sharan' ;) .
Yeah been looking for a sharan 4motion for ages now but they are few and far between with a decent spec :(
The Kuga we like but in the "flesh" its got a bit of a weird ass lol. The hyundai one looks nice but I can't get past the badge (what a snob!) - just not sure how it will fair reliability wise. A bit like the Kia Sportage, I like that a lot but again - whats it gonna be like for reliability?
The tourareg I had as a loan car from VW a few years back and whilst it was really comfortable and quick its so wide and long it won't fit into regular car parking spaces with ease - it's just not sensible for this country.
The CC is one of only a handful of proper car's I would go for, the Mk4 mondeo estate and 5 series tourer being the others. I wish Ford would do more 4x4 variants on their cars like the Siera and Mk1 Mondy :(
