Title: mot failure on arb

hi everybody just got my 2005 galaxy back from council mot place one of the failures is rear antiroll bar linkage balljoint dust cover insecure not sure where this is lol,wondered was it one of the bushes on the arm wondered if someone can help sorry if it sounds a stupid question thanks in advance dave

Is it the drop links rubber on the ball joint?

It's number 6 on the photo.
Am I right in thinking you can just buy the rubber covers for a few pence, too, though.
Better off replacing then, though. They are cheap.

The rear anti roll don't have drop links does it? Mine doesn't anyway it just has 2 bushes each end.

thanks for the replies and helpful photo but like johnny roper says theyres no drop links at the rear so was puzzled lol

thanks for peoples input on this went back to mot place turned out he meant the front link but put the rear on the mot failure sheet lol

lol I did wonder,at least that is an easy fix and fairly cheap for a couple of drop links.
