Title: Left hand indicators not working/working sporadically
Post by: nkswinburne on October 01, 2017, 12:34:14 PM
Hi all I have a problem with the left-hand indicators on my 2003 galaxy 1.9tdi. I get a fast clicking from the relay and none of the bulbs are flashing they do work sporadically with one or two flashes. The same also happens with the hazard lights right hand side of the car is fine the left side only flashes now and again. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

I would hazard a guess at the fuse box being the cause as if memory serves correctly flasher relay is part of that and not external?!

Has the car got a towbar socket?

If you have no other problems with the electrics then the GEM board in the fuse box may be at fault the flasher units are soldered in to the board.
Could simply be a bad solder joint.
