Hi
I have just mechanically fitted a towbar to my Mk3 Galaxy. But I'm not sure of the best entry point to pick up the electrics
What is the best route into the car ?
Do I wire to the offside or nearside rear light panel ?
Here is a link to the can/relay module which I have bought

Any help Greatly appreciated.
Thanks Dave
perfect timing i also have also just purchased a towbar and would like to know the same answer if any one can help
I don't think you can simply connect into the existing electrics. That will bring up CANBUS errors. You will need a connecting kit of some description.
Hi
Also purchased the canbus relay at the same time but do you wire to the near side or the offside panel ?
1, Connect into main harness from the lights etc and bridge over from one of the panels
Here is the canbus relay that I purchased
