Title: Clutch & DMF change done and driven!
Post by: KingyMAK on September 17, 2017, 09:14:13 PM
Well, I finally got round to buying and getting my new clutch kit, CSC & DMF fitted.

It's like a new car, but to be honest, I'm uploading a video of my old Flywheel & I don't see anything 'wrong' with it...?

:D

DMF always got some flex when you move the 2 parts but yours is excessive aswell as the wobble when pulling mating face away from the back plate. It is defo shot!

It had about 1/2 inch of play plate-to-plate.

Should of heard it cold, too!
Rattled its tits off.

Clutch plate wasn't that bad, but it's binned as the full lot we're the original parts from new... so 137k isn't bad!

CSC was bust though, leaking like a kitchen tap.

All nice and quiet now, with a nice smooth clutch pedal.
(No longer sticking down!  :D)

I now need an Aux. Tensioner as it's jumping all over!
(And sort out the aircon leak...  :()
