Post by: netdobeiras on August 30, 2017, 06:10:22 PM
I have a MK1 ford galaxy and wanted to know how to upgrade my radio particularly one thats double din and comes with navigation. what connector do i have to buy and what bezel do i have to buy? Unlike my Nissan xterra with plenty of videos on install the Galaxy seems to have no videos.

It depends on what radio you have now. Is it still the standard ford radio? 2006 rds or 2007 rds? because the actual wiring and connectors is different.

So you know, the wiring from both the 2006 and 2007 RDS systems can be rewired to bypass the factory amplifier. It allows you connect the speaker cables directly to the head-unit. Its a straightforward enough job if you are handy with electrics.
Hope this helps
