1 that fits. ;D
all joking apart i have the same problem with my smax, mine are 18 " jobbies.
and have read that the recommendations are the same size and must be extra load tyres fitted to it aswell.?
skinny 1 will be no good.
also bear in mind if you were to have an accident whist using a spare which is not the same size as the 1s fitted to your car,i very much doubt that your insurance company would pay out?

well in the end i found another snowflake alloy with the correct tyre on ebay,i have it inside my car bungee strapped to a metal hook on 1 of the middle seats in the upright position but as i hardly ever have all 7 seats up i find this exceptable.,also make sure you get the correct lifting weight of jack.

Hello ppl 1st time on here. I got my galaxy 2.2 on 18 s and looking also for a spare wheel.  Do you think 10,000 miles is ok to do on the best tyres you can find on the market?  As that s what I done and it s costing me my pocket.

10K on the fronts is a little under, 10K on the rears is a lot under! 14 to 15K should be fairly easy to achieve.
The brand/cost isn't a good indicator of how they will wear, that's all down to the compound used. Avoid anything with "Sport" in the title for example as these tend to be softer giving you more grip but wearing out a bit quicker.

As I occasionally nip over to France for cheap beer, I wanted a spare wheel (I don't have much faith in the sealant kits provided with the Galaxy).. The following web site gives details of similar wheels, I bought a Jaguar wheel on eBay and put on a cheap but reinforced tyre, total costs approx Ã,£100.  Hope that helps.

I too was searching for a spare wheel, breakers reluctant to sell wheels from mondeo etc as questions over offset and figment. My solution, bought a new steel rim from amazon of all places, Ã,£58, spoke to my normal tyre centre and requested they find a 'barely legal, but legal' 215 60r16, for which they will only charge me balancing and fitting, Ã,£13. Far more reassuring than two tins of tyre weld half way across France!

Hello, I am new to this, but I am going mad trying to find a 17" steel wheel for my 2011 Galaxy Titanium X, I'm off to France and would like to take a proper spare, I have a reasonable 225 tyre but need a wheel to put it on. Surely it can't be this hard!! Can anyone recommend a good web site please? I have looked on Amazon and Ebay but suppliers are only selling ones to fit a 19mm socket nut, mine takes 21mm socket to remove the wheel nuts...please help!!
Chris

Hi tintenter....I got an 18" alloy to use as a spare wheel from alloywheels.com although a different style and had to get the option for bigger nuts to fit a 21mm socket. Also bought a black plastic cover,  21mm brace and a used mk2 Galaxy jack. I had to buy a new budget tyre though. All in about Ã,£165.

Try Ebay, I got mine for Ã,£130 delivered which included a brand new tire. I couldn't find another car that had the same tire size as my Galaxy.
