Hello folks! As per title, does anyone know for certain the driveshaft length? The part no on my driveshaft is YM213B437AC 7M3407271P. I've checked on the net (a lot), cross-referencing and I've found that the Spidan driveshaft has a part no 20579, Löbro 303592. SKF vkjc 7004 I think. The problem is that on different sites, they state different lengths for these. Either 537mm, 510mm,507mm or 505mm! Are the shorter length ones quoted as compressed or what? I replaced the inner cv joints last year (J&R), but they're gone again. They've 2 year warranty but I'm not gonna bother with them again. I'm going to replace both driveshafts this time.
Thanx for any help/advice guys.
I've got a few knocking about so I'll measure them for you tomorrow.
Thanx Mark. I'm just a bit puzzled as to why the same part number would be quoted as having different lengths? Cheers.
Presumably they use one part number and a reference number? The sizes I assime will be for tdi, 2.3 and V6 along with auto \ manual configuration
The part number is for a manual ASZ engined car. The SPIDAN part number is quoted as 537mm on some sites, but on ECP website thay say that the length is 510mm?
