Hi there im new to the site I've read the post about changing mounts I can't get mine to move at all 1st thing is can you cut through the rubber mount to get more access? 2 if you cut through the metal plate or washer can you buy these or do you not need them ? Any help would be greatly appreciated (galaxy 2.3 03 )

Metal.domed washer was avaiale from fords
You need them yes
